The “Engineer Mug – Mechanical Engineer”: perfect for fuelling those late-night design sessions and early morning meetings. A not-so-subtle reminder that you’re the one who makes things work, even when the project manager insists on “blue sky thinking.”

Save for later ♡

Meetings, deadlines, and questionable design briefs – just another Tuesday for a Mechanical Engineer. This mug won’t solve your problems, but it will provide a momentary respite with a much-needed caffeine hit before you have to explain, yet again, why perpetual motion is not a viable energy source.

About this mug

Who is the Mechanical Engineer mug a good gift for?

Mechanical engineers, engineering students and anyone who fixes things everyone else thought were impossible. A fun graduation or work gift.

What does the design look like?

A black illustration of an engineer in a hard hat and overalls between two gears above a large spanner, with "I'M A MECHANICAL ENGINEER" above and "NOT A MAGICIAN BUT I CAN SEE WHY YOU MIGHT BE CONFUSED" below.

Are there more engineering mugs to choose from?

Yes, browse the full range of engineering mugs for other designs.

Delivery and care

Do you deliver across Australia?

Yes, to every state and territory by Australia Post, and shipping is free when you order 2 or more items. We only ship within Australia.

How is the design printed, and will it last?

Every mug is hand-printed in Australia using sublimation printing on an 11oz ceramic mug. We like to be upfront: like every sublimation print, the colours will gradually soften with use and washing. It is made for everyday drinking, and a favourite mug that has worn in a little is part of its charm.

How do I look after it?

The sublimation print is dishwasher safe, so you can load it up with the rest of the kitchen. To keep the colours looking fresh for longer, a hand wash with a soft sponge is kinder than a scourer.
