Every Day Is Saturday Mug – Retirement Gift Idea

$22.00

Monday has been cancelled. So have Tuesday through Friday. A cheerful retirement gift idea for anyone whose week just became one long weekend.

Save for later ♡

Ask a retiree what day it is and you’ll get a shrug and a smile. It doesn’t matter any more.

This mug settles the question once and for all. A retirement gift idea that needs no explaining, even to the youngest person at the farewell.

A Retirement Gift Idea That Explains Itself

It’s a bold mid-century graphic in navy, teal and mustard. A chunky tear-off desk calendar shows “SAT” in big letters, and the pages flying off behind it all say “SAT” as well, surrounded by a few retro starbursts.

Below, in solid navy capitals: “EVERY DAY IS SATURDAY”.

Bright, Happy and Easy to Give

There’s nothing cheeky about it, so it’s a good pick when the gift is from the whole team or going to someone senior. It also reads clearly from across the room, which the person holding it will enjoy pointing out.

The mug takes 11oz (near enough to 325mL), ideal for a long weekend that never ends.

An Easy Retirement Gift Idea for Any Workplace

When you are searching for a retirement gift idea, the hard part is finding something that suits the person and the occasion. This one is cheerful, clean and impossible to misread, so it works in a school, a hospital, a bank or a building site.

It is also a handy retirement gift idea when the budget is modest. A mug feels like a proper present on its own, and it doesn’t need a big collection behind it.

More Retirement Gift Ideas to Pair With It

For a bigger send-off, build a “weekend forever” pack around it: the mug, a newspaper subscription, good biscuits and a puzzle book. Retirement gifts like that cost little and show some thought.

Delivery and care

Do you deliver across Australia?

Yes, to every state and territory by Australia Post, and shipping is free when you order 2 or more items. We only ship within Australia.

How is the design printed, and will it last?

Every mug is hand-printed in Australia using sublimation printing on an 11oz ceramic mug. We like to be upfront: like every sublimation print, the colours will gradually soften with use and washing. It is made for everyday drinking, and a favourite mug that has worn in a little is part of its charm.

How do I look after it?

The sublimation print is dishwasher safe, so you can load it up with the rest of the kitchen. To keep the colours looking fresh for longer, a hand wash with a soft sponge is kinder than a scourer.
